December Designs

Okay, so I've been back on Pinterest for inspiration!

This was a lot more challenging than I through it would be, but he turned out great!  It's made by hot gluing styrofoam cups together.  This is definitely a student favorite!

Next, Oh Deer! is not quite complete.  He will have colored light attached tomorrow.

Here is our Hip Hop Penguin that greets our teachers, paras, & volunteers as they enter the work room.  He's another 3-D design.

Last, is my personal favorite.  Oh those reindeer and the games they play.  These are placed on the inside Media Doors so when the doors are opened (which they normally are) you can see them.

November Creations

Okay, so I went to Beth and said..."I have an idea!"

This "idea" came form Pinterest!  I love Pinterest, don't you?  I added the extra element to the window next to our scarecrow to give us a little privacy in our workroom!

As with many of our ideas....they tend to grow.....we decided to decorate the hallway door to entertain our parents who came for the Thanksgiving Lunch days.  As parents entered the school, they were greeted by Tommy Turkey!  It was a BIG hit with the kids and parents alike!

The Concession Stand.  This was created as a backdrop to the checkout area.

The Jumbotron was a fun way to keep track of sales and include a shout-out to our awesome admin team.  The center pole was a perfect place to display it too!

The pressbox was a favorite of mine.  We decorated the loft and added our bobbleheads.  I have to say, it was a bit unnerving walking in a seeing your giant head staring down at you each morning! <grin>  Below the pressbox was our photo op stage where kids could get their pictures made.
